What to buy

  • 1 10-way blade fuse box with negative bus
  • 3 5 A blade fuse
  • 2 10 A blade fuse
  • 2 15 A blade fuse
  • 1 Feed from the battery busbar: 40 A fuse and 6 mm² cable, red and black
  • 2 12 V light switch (rocker or push)
  • 1 12 V LED dimmer (PWM)
  • 30 m 1.5 mm² flexible cable (red and black, tinned is best)
  • 17 m 2.5 mm² flexible cable (red and black, tinned is best)
  • Use dimmers made for 12 V LED (PWM). Put each dimmer between the fuse and the lights of its zone.
  • Fridges and heaters need a steady voltage: give each its own fuse and a cable from the fuse box, never shared.
  • Red for positive, black for negative. Label every fuse with its circuit number.
